"Stay at Home" Compliance Complaints
In a press conference on March 30, Governor Inslee again requested "non-essential" businesses and citizens to comply with the stay at home order.
The Washougal Police Department’s response to these types of complaints, if received, is through education. We will inform citizens and businesses they need to comply with the order and the reasons for the compliance.
If a complaint is regarding a non-compliant business, please file a complaint via the Washington State online complaint form available here.
If you are filing a complaint on an individual or private group (non-business) with an officer, please contact our police department @ 360.835.8701
Message from the Chief
Washougal is a growing community of rare natural beauty, rich history and a bright future. Our agency of 20 sworn officers and support staff face significant challenges with the continued growth of our community. Working together with our residents, city administration and other departments, we will preserve the quality of life that all of us have come to know and expect in Washougal.
As the saying goes "pride runs deep" and it certainly does within the Washougal Police Department. We are proud of our community and our efforts to make Washougal a safe, peaceful place to live, work, and visit. It is my goal that the citizens of our community be equally proud of their Police Department. Every day, and in everything we do at the Washougal Police Department, we are working to maintain your continued trust and support.
