About the Board

The Park Board of Commissioners is comprised of seven members appointed by the Mayor, approved by the City Council, six shall be residents of the city and one may be a nonresident within the UGB. The term of office is three years. This volunteer board makes recommendation to the City Council.

Meeting Time

  • First Thursday of the month (except December) at 3:30PM in Washougal City Hall Council Chambers 1701 C Street

Washougal Parks Board EXPIRATIONs

  • Terms for positions 1, 2, and 3 expire in 2020. 
  • Applications will be open now until May 1, 2020.
  • Applications will be reviewed and approved by the City Council with the vacancies being filled for service by the June 4th Park Board meeting.

Washougal citizens may apply by writing a letter of interest, along with a resume or narrative of background and experience, and volunteer application found on the City of Washougal’s website to Mayor Molly Coston c/o Cemetery Board at 1701 “C” Street, Washougal, WA 98671.
