Boger was appointed July 2, 2012 to the City Council. He was re-elected November 2013 and 2017. Brent grew up in Washington and California, and has been a Washougal resident since 2003.
As a municipal government attorney, he has specialized in finance, land use, real estate, railroad law, open government law, and litigation for nearly 20 years. He has also represented businesses and individuals in private practice litigation. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Juris Doctorate degree.
Brent's top priorities are to maintain public safety, complete Highway 14 widening through Washougal, and promote retail, commercial and light industrial economic development.
