The City of Washougal is accepting applications for the Salary Review Commission.
A four-year term that begin in the September/October timeframe. This five-member volunteer commission studies the relationship of salaries to the duties of Mayor and Council members and establishes the salary and compensation for the Mayor and City Council. Applicants must be City of Washougal residents and registered voters. No city officer, official, employee or immediate family member of any city officer, official or employee shall be eligible for membership. Commission members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval by the City Council. Salary Commission meetings will be held annually between September and November.
