Community Development Closed June 17 (8am-Noon) for Software Upgrade

The City of Washougal’s Community Development offices will be closed in the morning on Monday, June 17 from 8am to noon.

Additionally, on Thursday and Friday, June 13-14, offices will be open but no current permits will be issued and new permits or applications will not be entered into our computer system.

Community Development is transitioning to a new and improved permitting software program. This new program is designed to better serve our customers by streamlining processes, and in future phases, provide online services to better assist the public. Accountability will also be enhanced as the new system will allow greater reporting on how Community Development serves the public.

Offices will reopen at noon on Monday, June 17 with the new program in place. While we expect a smooth transition, we ask for the public’s patience as we make these upgrades.
