Any individual accessing, browsing and using a City of Washougal (hereafter "City") website accepts without limitation or qualification, the City's Website Policy (hereafter "Policy").
The City collects many types of data throughout its website and the degree to which this data is used will be specified below. The City maintains the right to modify this Policy without notice. Any modification is effective immediately upon posting the modification on the Website Policy page unless otherwise stated. Continued use of any City websites following the posting of any modification signifies acceptance of such modification.
Logs & Activity Reports
The City collects data each time a visitor enters "www.cityofwashougal.us" or moves from one page to the next within the website. This information is used to gather statistics about visitors as a whole and in no way targets individuals. Personal information is not gathered in the log files. The information gathered falls into these categories.

- Which URL was visited prior to coming to the cityofwashougal.us
- Which file you are viewing at cityofwashougal.us
- What browser and version of browser you use
- Which Operating System you use
The above information is processed and analyzed to keep the City's website up to industry standards. Portions of the website's design and functionality may be influenced by the data collected.
For security purposes, you will be redirected to a secure third-party website where your payment will be processed.
Visitors to the City website shall not collect files, in part or in full, in order to replicate the City website and the services provided on authorized Internet Service Providers outside of the City website.
Expressed permission to use files from the City is granted for only personal use. Changes or modifications to these files including the addition of third party content cannot take place without the prior written permission of the City. All credits, notices, copyrights and trademarks must remain intact with the file(s).
Presentation of the data, information and images must appear in the original context of its presentation within the City website. Regrouping, resizing, cropping deletion, or framing of a portion of the file cannot occur without prior written permission from the City.
The City grants permission for websites to link to the homepage or to any page within. Links should be checked regularly in case a file or directory has changed or been moved since the link was created. Creating a link to the City website does not constitute an agreement for a reciprocal link to be placed on the City website.
The City is not liable for downloaded files. The download, maintenance, and use of these files are the responsibility of the City website visitor. Occasionally, the City website files are deleted or moved or archived. Replacement of the file(s) is the responsibility of the visitor. Administrators of websites, outside of the City website, are encouraged to occasionally check links to the City website to make sure the links are active.
While the City strives for accurate information, occasionally information may be reported that is inaccurate. The City is not liable for inaccurate or incomplete information found or used by the visitor to the City website.
