Pumpkin Harvest Festival
The City of Washougal is holding the Pumpkin Harvest Festival as a Trick-or-Treat walk-thru event at Hathaway Park this year! Stop by for a FREE pumpkin and goodie bag of Halloween toys and treats. Don’t forget your costume!

Washougal Lighted Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting 2026
City of Washougal kicks off the holiday season with the annual Lighted Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on the first Thursday of December. The event also includes photos with Santa, performances by local music and/or dance groups and holiday treats.

Hometown Heroes
This annual event is a celebration of service, honoring the volunteers, board and commission members, nonprofit organizations, and local leaders who give their time and talents to improve the quality of life in Washougal.

Memorial Day Ceremony
This annual event honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. The ceremony typically features heartfelt remarks from a guest speaker, a rifle salute, the playing of Taps, and the retiring of the colors.

4th of July Parade
Celebrate Independence Day with Washougal’s non-motorized parade, a festive and family-friendly (and new!) tradition. Children are invited to participate on foot, bicycle, scooter, stroller—anything without a motor! This event fosters community spirit and provides a safe and inclusive way for kids and families to kick off the 4th of July together.

This event is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work.

The Washougal Community Market is a summer marketplace that celebrates local makers and small businesses. Visitors can browse a wide variety of handmade goods, baked treats, artisan crafts, and more—all in a welcoming outdoor setting with live music and family-friendly activities.
