Biography
Marty Swofford has proudly called Washougal home since 2013, where he is raising his three children. A 10.5-year U.S. Navy veteran, Marty brings a deep commitment to service, leadership, and accountability. His dedication to the community is rooted in ensuring Washougal remains a safe, thriving, and fiscally responsible place for current residents and future generations.
Employment
Marty is an operations expert with extensive experience leading multimillion-dollar improvement initiatives across multiple industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Utah. He is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, specializing in efficiency, accountability, and results-driven management.
Community Service
Marty is deeply involved in youth and community organizations. He currently coaches Clark County Youth Football and Washougal Youth Basketball and has coached with East County Little League. He previously served on the Board of Directors at Orchard Hills Golf & Country Club, where he held leadership roles including Secretary and served three consecutive years as Board President. Marty remains committed to community involvement that strengthens families and builds long-term community success.
