Sherry MontgomeryOur office receives and investigates citizen complaints regarding potential violations of the Washougal Municipal Code. All complaints are received and investigated in a fair and impartial manner and all citizens can expect to be treated with integrity and respect.

Why We Enforce the Municipal Code

We work with citizens to resolve neighborhood issues in an effort to promote and maintain a safe and desirable living and working environment. We strive to improve the quality of our community through fair and balanced enforcement of regulations targeted to solve specific problems within the community, such as:

Common violations include:

  • The accumulation of garbage, trash, junk, or other materials
  • Inoperable or unlicensed vehicles
  • Signs
